Mission Statement

 

The Wetaskiwin Icemen have started recruiting for the 2015-16 season. We are looking for committed players and quality young men to join our team. We have $1000.00 scholarships available to "All" players attending post secondary education that are full time roster players.  We have job placement and billets available. The organization takes great pride in providing a quality junior environment. We have the best fan support and great community sponsors. We cover travel expenses to games and practices. We provide helmet, gloves, bags, training gear, team coat, stick allowances, tape,and other benefits every year which is a great bonus of playing with the Icemen. We want a culture of commitment and success. We have made relationships with teams at the Junior A level to help committed players get opportunities at the next level. We want players who are willing to commit to the program to help us achieve the goal of being one of the most competitive teams in the CJHL.
